This is my first fridge purchase and the one I am currently using. Since I live alone, I was just looking for something cheap and this was one of the cheapest that had positive reviews. For one person, the space is decent for me. I think for two or more people, it would start getting really crowded inside. The shelves are adjustable so you can reconfigure the look of the insides. There's also separate compartments for fruits, vegetables, and meat. The freezer is on the top, so it's very small. Fortunately, I don't have that much in the freezer typically. There was one time I bought bags of ice for a trip and had to store them in the freezer for a little while. That was a big headache as I had to keep rearranging things to make it fit. As another reviewer mentioned, everything gets frosted in the freezer. I'm not sure why that happens but it can be kind of gross. Even things that haven't been opened yet, I'll open it and it'll be frosted. I can't complain too much about this fridge though, as for the price point, I knew what I was getting into. Overall, I might recommend it for 1 or 2 people who don't want to spend a lot.

This refrigerator/freezer combo have no bells or whistles, just the basic model available these days. It seems that the temperature is consistant in the refrigerator but in the freezer everything gets frost but very easily, even though it hasn't been left open at all. The size of the freezer is too small for even our small family of four. We had to buy another chest freezer inorder to accomidate our needs. i really like that you can move the shelves inside of the refrigerator and that you can easily clean them because they come out so easy. For the price of this home necessity it does a pretty good job. If you like to stock up on food deals or to shop at wholesalers you may want to invest in something with a little bigger freezer.

We purchased this about a year ago from a local store. We tend to lean towards HotPoint, because we've had it in the past and they always seem to outperform what the warranty says. This is no exception. It offered the size we wanted, the top freezer, as opposed to the ones with the freezer on the bottom, as well as the fact that it came in white. The stainless steel ones, though we've looked at them, they just hold no appeal. There is not only plenty of room in this refrigerator, but also in the bottom - where we store our fresh veggies, as well as a whole lot of room in the top-freezer part. We've very pleased with this model and we'd been looking for a good 18 Cubic Ft. combo for a bit. We didn't rush blindly into this purchase - we looked at several different models and brands and this is the one that had all of the features we wanted. It's quiet, keeps things frozen where it's supposed to and fresh in the refrigerator part. Best overall for us. Noise Level Very low noise, you'd have to stand right next to it to hear it running. Interior Organization There's a place for everything and more than enough room to put whatever you have. Both in the freezer and refrigerator parts. Vegetable bins are large. Easy to organize. Temperature Control We went by the manufacturer's recommendation and have never once had to change the temp setting. Ease of Cleaning So much room in this one, there's never a problem cleaning it. One of the many features we love. Durability As I said in my review above, we've always had the best luck with Hot Point, so we're expecting this to be the last refrigerator purchase we make. No doubt this will last at least as long as other products we've bought from this manufacturer. Design Design is exactly what we wanted - simple. White was the only color that really appealed to us, though we did look at the stainless. It's just perfect for us.
