Holiday Inn - Seattle, WA
I booked the Holiday Inn Express 1 month before my trip over to see a Mariners game in Seattle. It was decently priced and only $10 a night for space in the parking garage which only guests have access too. Their restaurant is nice if a little over priced for the fair and the hours are very sporadic considering travelers usually have very odd hours. The breakfast buffet is pretty good and the staff is nice. One thing to be aware of is where this hotel is located. When walking just a block over to a gas station there were several "questionable" characters out and about that made me nervous...

I booked the two night stay at the Crown Plaza in Downtown Seattle about 2 months in advance of my travel plans. The website is VERY easy to use and book my stay. I used 3 different sites to double check the price and orbitz and expedia were the same as the site. I paid "extra" for a view room and trust me its worth it! I could see Mt Ranier, the Space Needle, and the Pudget Sound all from my room. It was very large and spacious with a desk, 37 inch flat screen, a "real tub" and marble tile in the bathroom. The staff was friendly. The only real concern was the bathroom fan didn't...

My husband and I recently stayed here for our anniversary. We got a great deal on a lake view room. The furnishings, bathroom, tv, bedding were all very nice. My only complaint was the loud music and low lighting in the lobby at night. More of a night club than a hotel lobby. We did the breakfast buffet...$24 per person!!! It was good, but not worth the price tag!
Waikiki Marina Resort - Waikiki, HI
I have stayed in this hotel once, but if I had to choose to stay at a hotel again in Waiki, this would be it, no other alternatives, hands down! If you want to rent this hotel, rent it through "Shell Vacations Hospitality." Room rates can range from mid $100 on up depending on the rooms you want. There are promotions every now and again that discount rooms if you prefer to be environmentally friendly - foregoing room service/ change of towels for several days. One of the main reasons I booked this was because it has a kitchen in their rooms! I LOVED it! WE loved it! All the kitchen...

And you too could be thanking this hotel chain for free night certificates. I just made two reservations for two days stays to get just that, two free night certificates. I was most pleasantly surprised when I reviewed my mail last month and found such an item. I did not know it could be so easy. Reward programs always put you through the ringer to get the free night, but this chain sends you the certificate without requiring that you do anything, and that is great.
The hotel itself is not bad. This particular one by Metro Center, is much nicer than the one in Ft. Lauderdale but not as nice as...

Deep into the Western quadrant of Zimbabwe along the border with Zambia lies one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls. Mosi-oa-tunya, "the smoke that thunders". The smoke refers to the incredibly high clouds of mist that come from the falls crashing into the Zambezi Gorge that can be visualized from miles away. The falls can be felt from as close as a mile away. A constant aire of mist surrounds the area, and the "smoke" is quite visible from the town of Victoria Falls and the countryside. The falls lies within Victoria Falls National Park on the Zimbabwe side, and...

The Grand Vista Hotel in Simi Valley is a hidden gem in one of the safest cities in the US - Simi Valley, CA. Simi is within distance of all the attractions that L.A. has to offer yet is more of an affluent suburb outside all the congestion of the big city. It's near the Ronald Reagan Library, and the beautiful beaches of Malibu and other SoCal beaches, and not far from Oxnard and Ventura. This hotel is really nice, with full room service, a business center, banquet facilities and beautiful pool with spa. The hotel has been undergoing some renovations in the last few years, but it's not...

Great Wolf Lodge - Grapevine, TX
We took our 3 grandkid here in November and they had an incredible time----memories that will last forever. Restaurant and food were over priced so we left the lodge and went out to eat---not as convenient but easier on the budget.
Embassy Suite - Syracuse, NY
My husband had to go for a business conference and I was fortunate enough to go with him. The hotel was lovely, the staff couldnt do enough for its guests and the room was fantastic. I felt the price of the rooms for two were more than a fair price at $94 per night. That also included the most wonderful breakfast buffet.
Usually you get a cup of coffee, orange juice and if your lucky some kind of unfrozen danish. Well at the Embassy Suite you have a buffet that is terrific, of course there were all kinds of bread, rolls and bagels, assorted fruits and beverages. And an omlet station...
