Hotel San Jose - Austin, TX — 

I have stayed at the San Jose a number of times, the last of which was just a few weeks ago. It is in the best neighborhood in town - tons of stuff to do within walking distance, which is unique for Texas. I love the minimalist decor - but it definitely keeps a sort of Texas feel to it - a sort of comfort. There is a lovely bar and patio area with a pool for cooling off. You can't beat this spot. Plus - a lot of celebs stay here when they roll through town. You never know what fun you'll find at the San Jose.

I lived in Austin for 7 years and still miss it. Where is the hotel? Downtown?
