The Lord Berri hotel is conveniently located near Rue Ste-Catherine, where the Jazz festival, and also an art festival were taking place when we were visiting Montreal. The hotel was within walking distance to everything in the old Montreal area. The check-in was painful, partly because it was very late (1 AM), it took a while, and we finally did, a much smaller room than expected. It was very clean and well equipped for our weekend trip (queen bed, fridge, TV, clean bathroom). The customer desk rep. was friendly and courteous, but it was very helpful to be able to talk French. The best part of the hotel stay was the location. We walked everywhere, but also took advantage of the Metro and bus station - each about a block away. We took the bus from the airport and also took the bus to Quebec City for the day. Old Montreal and China Town are close to the hotel and there are lots of cool places to shop and eat on St. Denis - one block over. The hotel room had a mini bar which was great to store snacks in. There was a computer kiosk in the lobby which was very cheap to use to get on the internet. The staff was alway friendly and very helpful in giving us directions,… read full review »

The Hotel Lord Berri was comfortable and attractive. The location is right in the heart of the Old Quarter, steps away from the Metro and the bus station, making it easy to enjoy all the tourist attrations in Montreal. The hotel restaurant is outstanding and a real treat. Don't miss eating out on the patio. Everything is homemade. We enjoyed an all you-can-eat mussells dish with fantastic wine and wonderful atmostphere. We hope to come back again soon.Recreational Attactions: Short Walk, Don't miss the Old Pier, only 3 blocks away. There is a wonderful promenade for walking and bicycling. One… read full review »

The Hotel Berri was a great value. The location was excellent. It was within two blocks of the Berri metro station in the Latin Quarter, and it was within walking distance of Old Montreal. The room was small but very comfortable and tidy. When we had to call down for towels, the service was prompt. Check in was relatively quick. The restaurant in the hotel served a fine and reasonably priced breakfast. The fruit plate with cottage cheese was huge, and the wait staff was very friendly. The ATM in the lobby was very helpful. All in all, it was a great place to… read full review »
