Best location downtown

If you want to walk anywhere downtown, this is a great location. It is fine during the day, but you shouldn't be walking in this area at night. This is the best hotel for the price if you get an upgraded room. I highly recommend the crown club rooms which have an enclosed balcony separated from the sleeping room with a glass wall and door. This greatly reduces the street noise from below and is a nice place to smoke with the window open and the door the the room closed. You can go outside without going outside. There does seem to be an issue each time I stay here like a diesel spill in the lobby that took two days to clean up one trip and the bathroom sink fell off the wall another time (which they charged my credit card for after I returned home!). It's not paradise, but definately the best downtown hotel for the price. You can find the best rates for this hotel on hotelbook.com (they don't offer a lot of properties, but this one is always on there). They just built a new restaurant and lobby shops which are beautiful.
