This movie has been in our DVD player for several weeks now. It is completely different from any other kids' movie I've seen. It has an appeal to the "older" watcher as well (like parents or siblings who are around when the movie is on). I like that it has brave characters who confidently face their enemies. I also like that there is an emphasis on being the best (winning the race) and being a team player. Each character has some sort of dilemma to face, and many change significantly as a result.
