I receive compliments every time I straighten my hair with this baby. One time I tried to do it too quickly and ended up burning off a large lock, but I have recovered. This straightener really is no better than a cheap straightener that you can get from most retailers. It does do a decent job straightening fairly quickly, but it is painful to use because it constantly pulls out your hair (it gets stuck in the hinge) and the straightening doesn't last long. I really love using this flat iron. My daughter even started using it because i liked it so much! I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to buy a flat iron. It sstraightens thick hair easily without pulling your hair! It was cheap to buy. It has lasted me a long time. It is definitely the best flat iron I have ever used in my lifetime.

Damages hair

I use flat iron to straighten my hair, it works but it the long run no matter what hair conditioners I use I get split ends and it tears my hair up. For that reason I do not use it that often. I have not found any products that help in preventing my hair from breaking.

i love all of the hot tools products they are amazing! i use this product everyday it never gets old. i absolutely love it, i can take it anywhere and it never lets me down i loveeeeeee the hot tools products!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does the job. Worth the price.

It's worth the $20. Does make hair a drop frizzy, but not enough to notice. Mine broke after two years and the company had me return it and gave me a brand new one for no charge.
