This is a fairly good product. It does allow you to get VERY close to your scalp to touch-up your hair-do. It was a very nice bonus gift I received with the purchase of a Hot Comb. The Tourmaline Mini Styling Iron is really useful to me in conjunction with my Hot Comb. When the weather is moist or humid, I can just use it around my hair line until I can re-Hot Comb my hair.  It also gets VERY hot, 410 degrees. I guess that is good in some cases but that also limits the amount of times I want to use it. It would have been nice for it to have a temperature dial but it is too small for that. It being small is a plus because it is definitely easy to travel with. The whole iron is about the size of my hand from the tip of my middle finger to the base of my palm (I am about 5ft 3in. tall) It barely takes up any space in your luggage which is great for me. Between my stuff, my husband's stuff, and our newborn's stuff, space is something precious! I like how light weight the iron is also. Easy to maneuver. If I were to grade this product in school, it would get a B-.
