I loved watching this film in the theatres and I especially loved the DVD. You have to watch it with the commentary at least once to discover what they (the creators) were thinking while putting it all together (and to find all the hidden gags). The British humour is an acquired taste, but once you've got it, there's no easy getaway. I liked Jim Broadbent as the local chief and it took a few minutes to recognize Timothy Dalton .... it must have been the moustache ... he sure has gotten old. The murders were a bit grisly but it was important to the story.
