Hostess cream filled cupcakes are very good, the cupcake is a nice dark chocolate and the creamy center almost tastes like real whipped cream. The only problem with these is that they are absolutely awful for you, they are full of artificial ingredients. But no one expects these to be a health food so I guess it's okay.

I absolutely get a real kick out of these cakes. I can't get the commercials out of my mind. The raccoons falling from the sky saying " hey, where's the cream filling". Hostess Cup Cakes are one of the more expensive brands in the snack cake isle. It is the one thing I have always disliked about them. The cup cakes however, are another story. I have always enjoyed these. I would peel them apart starting with the fondant frosting tops. I enjoy the taste of the cake most. it is a dark chocolate. I always thought devils food cake. The chocolate flavor has a hint of creamy butter under tones. The inner frosting was good too. It is pure white in color. It has a slightly more fluffy texture than normal cake frosting. It is very sweet too. Although the frosting is very sweet it balances very well with the buttery chocolate cake. I would definitely suggest them to others. They are high quality and mostly worth the price paid for them.

The tried and true Hostess Cup Cakes are the best you'll ever have! The soft, rich chocolate cake, the sweet chocolate and white icing that isn't TOO sweet, and the cream filling make for the perfect treat! It's delicious and you can eat them any time! Try the store brand too, but Hostess will definitely beat it!

Hostess chocolate cupcakes aren't that bad, and they are an American classic. Honestly though, they're not one of my favorite snack cakes. I tend to prefer Little Debbie snack cakes to Hostess ones. The chocolate in both the cake and the hard "frosting" on top is kind of dark and bitter. The cream in the center is the same as Twinkie cream, and honestly is the best part of the cupcake. The texture of the cake itself is kind of chewy and heavy rather than soft and spongy.

I am a huge fan of Hostess products. One of the best Hostess product is the original Hostess Cup Cakes! The chocolate cake is always moist and very rich. By far the best part is the icing in the center and the icing on top! The icing in the center is rich, buttery, and fluffy! It has a great texture. I love the icing on top. It is very thick and has a velvety texture. They're very unique and are always a hit in my house. I highly recommend these for any chocolate lover!

If it weren't for the sugar, calories, and fat I would definitely rate this prriduct a 10. Hostess broke the mold when they created this chocolate sensation. These individually wrapped cupcakes are moist and delicious. The cake is extremely moist, and not too dense. With this cupcake, they chocolate flavor really comes through. Nothing can compare. So glad they're back.

Hostess Cup Cakes are one of my favorite guilty pleasures. They are a yummy chocolate cupcake filled with a decadent vanilla cream that is so sweet it makes your teeth ache. They come in packages of two, but one is really enough to satisfy my sweet tooth.

I think lol. Anyways, these are your basic cupcakes make of chocolate fluffy cake and a nice sugary white frosting/cream in the middle. The signature looping white frosting on the top is always fun to look at. These are very sugary and great for a good snacky junk food movie night.
