Hostess - 100 Calorie Cupcakes Reviews

I saw these at the store and well once in awhile I will lean towards a bit of chocolate.  Hostess came out with 100 calorie packs (3 to a pack) cup cakes.  They don't have the little white squiggle on the top, but they sure do taste like the normal sized Hostess CupCakes I had when I was a kid.  They are about silver dollar size in diameter and about a little over a half inch thick.  They still have that wonderful creamy filling in the middle too (so good).  

 I bought the six / three pack box and yes I will have to hide these from myself because they are that tasty.  Being a kid at heart,...

Hostess' 100 calorie chocolate cupcakes are pretty decent.  They could use a little more filling and a little less frosting, but overall they're pretty good for 100 calories.  They fulfill my chocolate cravings without a lot of calories.  They’re not healthy by any means, but they taste good.  Not as good as the real thing (especially considering the cake to filling ratio), but decent.  They're a little on the expensive side ($4-something), but I got them on sale 2 for $5.  I would pay that again but I definitely would not pay full price.

This product is just another in the new wave of 100 calorie packs. While I personally don't understand everyone's fascination with only eating 100 calories at a time, it is a good option for those who have a problem with portion control.

 The tiny cupcakes taste just like the full sized hostess cupcakes, so if you love them (and I definitely do!) you will love these cute little ones. Plus, chocolate cravings can lead to a horrendous binge, but these are the perfect amount of sweetness to satisfy said cravings.

A friend introduced me to this product, at first I was not interested in trying when I heard they were low calorie.  After trying the cupcake my first impress was right, it was chocolate alright.  Which made it a little bit better, however it was on the dry side.  I have decided to choose the regular fat filled cupcake and enjoy the full flavor and forget the calories that come with the enjoyment, when eating these regular products.  I would not recommend this product to anyone. 

well, let me tell you... i LOVE these little things. They are soooo good! they are pretty small but they are packed with yummy chocolatey taste.My favorite is the golden cake with the chocolate frosting. I am currently on a diet & I must say these have been a saver for my me because when im craving a big hunk of chocolate cake, i have a pack of my little heavenly treats with a can of diet coke & voila! a low cal sweeter that sweet treat =)

MMMM....chocolate cupcakes and only 100 calories.  Sounds great right?  Turn the box over and read the ingredient list.  When you make you own cupcakes at home, you can recognize the ingredients.  Do you recognize all of the ones on this box?  Low calorie does not always mean healthy!!
