    shade tolerant, awesome contrasting color, good for ground cover, sun tolerant(for a hosta), Very hardy

Hosta Sum and Substance Plants — 

I give hostas to all my friends that can't grow dirt. They are very hardy even as indoor plants.They come in hundreds of varieties and are good in sun to full shade.They can really liven a dull area. I filled in under my front treeline and bordered my flower beds.You will love at least one or two of these varieties of hostas.
