Every bit as good as the animated How the Grinch Stole Christmas  is this wonderfully animated, Chuck Jones directed 26 minute gem!!!

Horton if you remember is the overly nice elephant who took care of irresponsible Mayzie birds eggs in Horton Hatches the Egg.

Now  Horton the elephant hears voices coming from a tiny speck of dust.  On the speck of dust is where Who-ville is located and Horton's elephant hearing is so sensitive he can hear the Who's cries for help.

Unfortunately no one believe Horton.  And the harder he tries to get someone to believe him, the more everyone thinks Horton is a crazy deluded idiot.

Poor Horton... they make fun of him, they tease him....

Voices include the great Hans Conried and June Foray  who did lots of work for Jay Ward the Rocky and Bullwinkle folks.

Don't miss sharing this one with your family.
