Hormel Compleats Microwave Meals Reviews

I am sorry, I love Hormel products and have since I was a kid. The chili with no beans is in MANY of my favorite quick and easy appetizers (I love to entertain). — But the Salisbury Steak (as it was heating) smelled so bad and tasted worse. I purchased the Swedish Meatballs and the Chicken/Dumplings but do not have the heart to heat and stink up my home. Horrible. — If I could return these I would, I will not waste my money again on this product line. I recently saw these Hormel Compleats on the shelf at the store.  I was trying to find something for my lunch when I am at work.  I wanted something that wasn't going to take forever in the microwave, but still tasted good.  At the store I was at I found these for $1.98!  So I bought 4 (Chicken Noodle, Roast Beef & Mashed Potatoes, Chicken Alfredo, & Chicken & Dumpling).  I tried them and they were all really good.  Not to much, not to little.  I was really impressed with the serving size and the value.  I have since bought different types of these and… read full review »

"Hormel Compleats" are very convenient.  Keep them in your office desk drawer - no need for refrigeration.  Quick to fix - just 1 to 1.5 minutes in the microwave.  I tried the Beef Steak Tips which included mashed potatoes; very good.  If you're in a pinch on time, these are great.  If you have a little extra time, bring a side salad or vegetable.  Come in several varieties.  If watching fats & cholesterol content, don't eat these too often; like most processed foods, they are high in both.  Are worth… read full review »
