Hello everyone! My name is Laura and I am writing a review about my Hoover Steamvac.

First let me start by saying I love it, love it, love it and it has definately been worth every penny I spent! I have several animals ranging from eight pounds to one hundred pounds and needless to say it takes quite a machine to keep up after these guys! I am constantly cleaning areas where they like to sleep whether it be on the carpet or the furniture.

I did a lot of research online before purchasing a carpet cleaning machine.  After reading several reviews, I purchased the Hoover SteamVac carpet cleaner, and I am very happy with this purchase.  One thing I don't understand is the word "steam" in the name, as it does not actually clean using steam, but after reading the reviews, I didn't expect it to literally steam clean.

I have used the machine to clean our carpets a few times, and it really does a great job.  The tanks are a little small, and the used water tank always fills up before the tank with the cleaning solution is empty, but empting...

The Hoover SteamVac is a great addition to anyones home, especially if you have pets. It comes with upholstery and stair attachments to get at those hard to reach areas. It's also good for cleaning the upholstery in your car. The tank could be a little bigger as you will find yourself emptying and refilling more often then a larger tank cleaner. Also, I wish the width were more so there would be fewer passes. But, for a house with pets, it's a great spot cleaner. I've found that it gets even older stains out that rug cleaners couldn't touch. We purchased our Hoover Steamvac carpet cleaner a few years ago and it still works as well as the first time we used it.  It gets used several times a year at our house, as we have 2 small children and lots of messes.  It is very easy to use.  We not only use it for our carpets, but also on our linoleum.  It does a much better job than a mop.  My husband's parents borrowed it and liked it so much that they went and bought one for themselves.  The price makes very affordable.  It pays for itself after only a few cleanings.  It is a good size also - the same size as a vacuum - so it doesn't...

That's right it's a Hoover, and it cleans better, fast, and longer than any other.  We tried several carpet steam cleaners, but nothing cleans better that our Hoover carpet cleaner.  In the past 20 years I have bought my husband 3 of the Hoover carpet steam cleaners, not because they wore out, but because he wanted the latest model.  We passed the other ones on to our grown (with small kids) children who wanted and needed a Hoover steam carpet cleaners.
