The vacuum does it's job that's for sure. I'm not sure how much better it does exactly than our old vacuum. I do like the fact that it's bagless (less pain that way) and it's not heavy (which is good for having to take upstairs). I think it does a good job - my floors are clean.

I bought the Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum about a year ago and have not regretted my decision once. I love this vacuum. The first time I ran it, I was surprised how quiet it was compared to my old vacuum. I have 2 young kids in the house and this vacuum did not scare them. I could also still hear them while the vacuum was running so I did not have to worry about them too much. It only comes with 2 attachments, but that is all I need. I never use any of the other attachments anyway, so that is not a problem for me. Also the cord is long enough for me to not get frustrated with it. What impressed me the most, however, is the powerful suction. I am constantly accidentally vacuuming up my children's toys because it is very powerful. Like I said, I bought it about a year ago and it is still going strong. This has nothing to do with the performance, but I absolutely LOVE the blue color! This is one of the best vacuums I have ever used and so far it has been very durable!

I have recently bought a Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum and used it to vacuum my house.  This product has a clear canister instead of using bags.  I can dispose of the debris out of the clear canister very easily and do not need to buy bags.  This vacuum cleaner has a built in flexible hose.  It also has other accessories to clean the stairways, corners of the house, and floor.  It also has variable speed control.  IT also comes with a long extension electrical cord; it also comes with a brush roller underneath it.  The brush roller is very handy to clean the wooden floors in the house.  This roller has adjustable height and space so it can suck up the dirt more easily.  This vacuum cleaner has another nice feature.  It is very very quite during cleaning times.  I love that feature!  Pretty affordable.   Cons for this vacuum include: *it is a little bit heavy compared to other conventional vacuum cleaners

So I got this wonderful vacuum and loved the fact that it was so much quieter then normal vacuums. It is true that it really is quieter but not that quiet. I feel in time that it has gotten louder or maybe I'm just used to the sound. The suction is fantastic when everything is working great. This little gem is powerful.  As with everything it has it's faults too. Too bad nothing can be perfect. I have had to replace the hose already and it was not cheap. It is cheaply made and tore in several places.  I am not fond of the bagless feature either. I had purchased it because I wanted a bagless vacuum because I was sick of having to purchase bags constintantly. The dirt, dust and dog hair get caught up in one area in the canister and get stuck onto the inside components of the vacuum.  You have to bang the canister to get it all out and it causes a plume of dust and dirt, which then I have to clean up all over again. I have never cleaned a vacuum so much ever and I am constatnly having to clean the inside of this one out because of the smell and dirt build up.  When this vacuum is working properly it really is a great vacuum. The suction is incredible.

If your are like me a busy mom with alot of mess to deal with you need a hoover whisper. We need a new vacuum clean since our old one was getting cloged more then it was clean. At fristi didnt believe in the fact that it was quiter,but once you turn it on it changes your mind on what you think of vacuum cleaners. I still wasnt convice that it was the best untill i tried it out on kitty litter. Now for those of you who have animals you know what a pain it is to have carpet. Well with this hoover whisper not only can i hear the tv or radio while i clean.Now i can pick up my cats litter with out having to worry about litter being on the carpet any more.

I received this present for a bridal shower gift and it is amazing!! The first time we used the vacuum it was almost like we hadn't vacummed our floors for months even though it had only been about 2 weeks!!  It picked soo much up and made our carpet look brand new!  I am used to a loud clunky vaccum and this one is quiet and efficient...a much needed change!!  I love it!! I couldn't of gotten a better vaccum.  It was def worth whatever was paid for it!  It makes it that much better that it was a gift!  We are used to our dog and kids running from the noise of the vaccum and that isn't the case with this one!  You really need to try it out, I can't explain all the advantages to it on here!  And the fact that it is bagless is amazing!!  If your anything like me I totally forget to replace bags all the time!!!  But don't have to with this one!!!  WORTH the money..buy it and you will love it!!!!

This vacuum cleaner does really great. It is very powerful and I love the bagless part of it also. It is easy to empty the container. The attachments are also easy to use. It works great on furniture using attachments and it also works great on floors. I have different types of carpet in my house and it works great on all types.

When I saw this vacuum I immediately thought, "A quieter vacuum? I have to get this!" because the noise of vacuums really annoys me. Our family's old vacuum was one that had to have the bag replaced every once in a while, so the fact that this vacuum is bagless is definitely a plus. It looks nice too; I love the blue color. Still, there are a few tiny problems with it. First, the vacuum may be quieter than others, but it's still pretty loud and annoying. If only they could make one that didn't make any sound at all! Second, this vacuum has a red light that flashes when the suction is blocked, and it doesn't take a lot to get it blinking. It blinks almost all the time, and it only stops if you clean inside the vacuum well. You also have to wash one of the filters out every few months or so. The other filter you just have to shake out the dust. The good thing is that you don't have to buy a new filter every time. The vacuum works really well, so I'm mostly positive about it, but there are a few minor issues.

I ordered the Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum in late 2009 after my previous vacuum broke. I didn't have a lot of money to spend but I didn't want to get something that wasn't going to last well or work well. I ended up choosing the Hoover Whisper Cyclonic Upright Vacuum after some recommendations from friends. I have not been disappointed. I like the bagless vacuum and it's easy to dump the dirt after vacuuming. It's quieter than most vacuums and I actually really like the look of it too. It's a shiny blue color I have gotten lots of compliments on. It picks up dirt and dust well from the carpets and it's easy to vacuum my steps with the onboard attachments. My 6 year old is even able to do it. The only problem I've had was when I vacuumed up a sock and we had to take it apart but it went back together easily and it was an easy fix. I recommend it to friends when they need to know of a good inexpensive vacuum.

Purchased this vacuum in December to replace a 5 year old Dyson that seemed to have lost its suction.  I did not want to spend alot of money on another vacuum cleaner and I found a good deal on this one.  It is wonderful. Amazing suction! It is heavier than the dyson, but I like that.  It is relatively quiet for a vacuum cleaner. It made me realize I really did have a problem with the suction on the Dyson.  Only things I would change are: 1) The cord is not long enough, I have a medium size living room and I have to move the plug to be able to finish the other side of it, a retractable cord would be nice also.  2)I would like a light on the front to illuminate the cleaning area.  I don't want to have to turn the hallway light on just to vacuum the hallway.  Overall, I would definately recommend this vacuum.  Matter of fact, I bought my sister one for Christmas.  I will never spend the money like I did on a Dyson again, I would rather by a new one of these every 3 years.
