Hoover U5491900 Anniversary WindTunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum
I bought this vacuum 8 months ago after careful consideration of reviews online, as well as Consumer Reports. I have an average household with children, 2 cats, and a low-ish pile carpet due to dust allergies in the family. This Hoover Wind Tunnel model worked oh so well for the first 1-2 months. This is a great vacuum and we only paid $100 for it. My husband and I bought it as newlyweds as we needed a vacuum, and we didn't have a lot of money to spend on one. It seemed to be the best vacuum we could find for the price, so we took it and hoped for the best. I really like it; it's served us well over the last few years and we've never had a single problem with it. It has allergen filtration and other features. I purchased the Hoover Linx vacuum in September of 2009. It wasn't exactly cheap but it won't break your wallet. It seems like every time I go with the cheap vacuums that whole "You get what you pay for" seems to bite me in the butt!! I bought this vacuum because I needed something that was quick and easy to use on my hardwood floors. One of my favorite features is the Suction only/ suction+brush roll.
