This mop is great at getting the grime off. I use it on my linolium floors and it does the job. I have not had to add any cleaning solution to my mop yet but I do like the fact that it gives you that option if you need to. The pointed mop pad is easy to get into the corners and the cord is long enough to get everywhere I need the mop to go.

After my steam mop stopped working I was on the look out for a new one. I found the Hoover TwinTank on a good sale and decided to try it out. What I loved about it was that twin tank feature. Unlike most steam mops out there that just take water, the Hoover steam mop also has a second tank for adding cleaner (a small cleaner bottle comes in the box). So now you can disinfect and have a fresh smelling floor. The tank is removal so it makes filling under the tap extremely easy. The tank is big enough to clean my whole house without refilling. The steamer comes with 3 mop attachments (2 regular and 1 for hardwood floors). I personally don't have hardwood so I don't know how it would work but it is great at cleaning my linoleum flooring and tile. It also comes with an attachment to clean your carpets. I don't have any carpet so I haven't used it. They are easy to clean you can hand wash them or throw them in the washer. Other great features include a light that tells you when the water is ready and a button at the handle so you can release the steam. I would highly recommend this steam mop.

I have to say, I was pretty hesitant when purchasing this mop. I have bought several other steam mops and they haven't even come close to doing the job they promised. This one is different. I have tile and laminate floors throughout my home and it gets both surfaces sparkling clean. I was pretty surprised to see how clean it got the floor. I didn't even have to get down on my hands and knees to spot clean after using this mop. That's something I always had to do when I tried other steam mops. If there is a negative to it, it does put out quite a spray of water or whatever cleaner you are using in it. So I did find it left the floor a little too wet and if I didn't run a towel over the surface to dry it- it would have remained wet for a little longer than what I would have like. Other than that, I love the fact that you can use any cleaner in it and it's even great to use a homemade natural one (ie. vinegar and water). The mop is quite easy to use and honestly I have always trusted the Hoover brand when it comes to floor cleaners. This is one I would definitely recommend!

I bought the Hoover Twin Tank after reading reviews about it being great for bathrooms and kitchens. Mopping is one of my least favorite chores = so I procrastinate! As a result, my tile floors were pretty dirty. The Twin Tank got the superficial dirt but is not a replacement for scrubbing your floors clean. Assembly is very easy. It comes with a small bottle of cleaning solution from Hoover that so far has lasted my kitchen and bathroom floors (3). The pads are easy on and off and help remove grime as you pump a lever on the handle (like a trigger) to release steam and solution. The shape makes it easy to get under baseboards and into corners. Don't expect a huge cloud of steam - that part is a bit understated, but I felt good knowing that I was disinfecting in the process. The floors (all tile) dried quickly. The Twin Tank can also be used to steam carpet and rugs. I tried that on my Flor tiles and area rugs in my living room and bedroom. You don't use the cleaning solution - it seemed to work ok. More of a thing to just freshen up your carpets. The price is reasonable. It is light weight and stands in the corner, ready to go for next time. Again, great for light cleaning but not for stubborn spots or grime. Also, the cord is nice and long - longer than my Dyson vacuum. I reccommend it.

I love the idea that I am attacking germs with steam and disinfecting my house. The unit is very easy to put together and easy to use. There is a little bit of an issue getting used to how much detergent to use. Since this was my first time using the unit and my floors really needed a good cleaning, I used a little more detergent than I should have, which left a soapy residue on the floors. I went over the floor again with a fresh mop head and pure steam, but it was not able to clean up all the detergent. Next time I'll just go over the floor with pure steam, but I just didn't like that it wasn't like a real mop. Also, my hand got tired holding down the steam trigger. You'd think that "on" would just be "on". I can't wait to try it on my carpets to refresh them. Overall, I feel that my floors were sanitized, but not feeling great about the effort involved. I own the Hoover Spin Brush mop and love it, but it's more messy to deal with than this mop. So, the steam mop is great for quick cleaning, and the Spin Brush is great for thorough cleaning.

I love being a blogger. I get to try out products before they go out and work with some of the biggest and best brands. I got real lucky and got to try the Hoover twin tank steam mop. My floors have never been so clean. I have two kids and my floors get some really gross stuff on it. My floors are tile in the whole house with area rugs. Whats great about this steam mop is you can even use it on carpet. The twin tanks are great, one is for water and one is for cleaning solution. My house is a big house and I did all the floors with one tank. Now it did take a full bottle of cleaning solution. I made sure I let the kids get sticky , stuck on stuff on the floor to really put it to the test. It got all the dirt up with less time then an mop plus I went back over it on the steam only setting to kill all the germs on the floor. Now something it doesn't say you can do in the handbook that i did do was steam clean my couch it was a little hard to do but it got stuff out I didn't know was on it I got a little sick at what we had been setting and napping on. I used the steam only settings to do carpet in order to do this . But please remember it doesn't say anything about it in the handbook I tried it on my own. This is a light weight steam mop with a mop head that gets in every corner even around the potty. It comes with three mop pads one for hard floors and two for use on both, as well as a carpet glider. Something else great about it is the pads are reusable and can be washed a big savings when you need to mop more then once a day. The cleaning solution is biodegradable and smells great. The mop also has a cooling tray and water filter. The water filter cleans your water so it doesn't leave spots on your floor. Unlike most steam mops this one has four setting you can use it on. I used all four. Make sure you read the hand book before you use it to make sure you get the best results out of your steam mop. I am in love with this steam mop no more swiffer for me, I feel crazy wasting all that money on throw away wet pads to clean my floor. You do need to be-careful and make sure to wear shoes it gets really hot and can burn you bad, So don't use it around the kids or pets. I would put my dog or cat outside or in a room you are not mopping to make sure they don't get hurt it does stay hot for sometime after you mop.
