Hoover SteamVac - Upright Vacuum SpinScrub - F5914-900 Review

I bought this steam cleaner because I have 2 young children who play on the floor alot.  I wanted something easy to use, that I could pull out frequently and run often.  I use my machine on average every 3 weeks.  And even at that frequency I dump out some pretty nasty looking water.  I love that the carpets dry quickly after I am done, that is the key.  If they didnt dry fast than I would know that it wasnt getting all the water sucked back up.  I end up getting the change in pitch letting me know that the dirty water tank needs emptied way before I've run out of clean water.

The attachments and the hose for them is pretty bulky, so I took that off of the back and stored it away.  I have tried using it on my furniture, and its rather difficult since the water soaks right into the cushions.  It hard to get the majority of the water back out.

On carpets though, the Steam Vac is great!!
