I wouldn't give up my Hoover Self propelled wind tunnel vacuum for anything! I've had all the big brands, electrolux, kirby, kenmore, dirtdevil, none of them compare to my Hoover.
WIth the Hoover Self Propelled Wind Tunnel, cleaning is so much more effecient and easy. I no longer have to drag the broom or dust mop, the dust rag and furniture polish from room to room. The onboard tools make it a snap to dust the furniture and take down the cobwebs, clean off the furniture, remove the pet hair, and so much more in no time at all. The long cord makes it easy to go from room to room during cleaning.
The hepa filter and bagless canister are easy to use. When its time to empty the canister you simply slide the lever to unlock, pull the canister up and out. Take the canister outside and dump it in the trash. At that time you can use the filter cleaner. You turn the cleaner around the filter then take the filter out and gently tap the ends on the garbage can to shake the loose dust out of it. Slide the filter back into place and replace the canister.
The controls are on the handle, which makes it easy to turn off the self propel to use the onboard tools. It is simple to adjust for hard floor or carpet and the height of the carpet. The embedded dirt finder light is great. It shows areas where the dirt is heaviest. When the area is clean the light changes from red to green.
With having Fibromyalgia and Rhuematoid Arthritis, the Hoover Self-Propelled is easy on my back, muscles, and joints. It is lightweight and handles well. The only thing I wish was the hose was a few feet longer. That would make reaching the cobwebs easier.
The suction power on The Hoover Self-Propelled Wind Tunnel is great. It has as much suction power as a kirby, electrolux, or a kenmore.
It is compact so it takes up little room in the cleaning supplies closet. Especially since all the tools for it are in the case on the front of it. This also keeps them from getting lost or tangled up in a the other cleaning supplies in the closet. The hose is attached so you never have to worry about where it is.
The Hoover Self-propelled Wind Tunnel is light weight and easy to navigate stairs with. The stair brush does a wonderful job vacuuming the stairs. All the tools are easy to attach and take off.
The belt is easy to replace and fairly inexpensive when you need to purchase a replacement. It is as easy as removing 4 screws to clean the brush of any thing that gets tangled in it. There is no need to buy bags and that is a major plus.
I really can't come up with any negatives on this cleaner other than the hose is a tad too short, which I can live with. I actually enjoy vacuuming again.
I recommend this product to anyone who is looking to buy a new vacuum. I am happy not to have to buy bags anymore and the self propell is an awesome feature for those who have bad backs or muscle problems.
