My hubby has this Honeywell Portable Solar Comfort Tower Heater in the garage. During the winter months he still likes to work in the garage. It gets so cold in there that he needed "Heat". Well he has it now. This unit delivers. Our garage is quite large but the area in which he is working stays warm. Performance This heater is located in the garage, it would be impossible to heat the entire space. However the area in which my hubby is working stays warm and comfortable. During the winter months, he is able to work on the car or boat without freezing. The Honeywell Portable Solar Comfort Tower Heater is a nice addition to his man cave. Ease of Use Easy to use! Set the heater where you want it, adjust your settings, plug in and turn on. How easy is that. Durability Durable enough to have in a garage. The heater has endured the last two winters. Design The unit is sleek and attractive for any space even a man cave. The design requires little space so it's a space saver. Safety Has built in safety features which is a must for portable heaters. The safety feature gives us an added sense of ease when using the unit. We always unplug when not in use.

I have been very pleased with the Honeywell for some ten years now to keep a bedroom warm even when asleep without worrying. It is on wheels which means it can be positioned exactly where needed and transferred to other rooms or even other houses which has happened. The switch is lighted to alert the user to current usage which prevents failure to turn off. Because of the thermostat, it will not overheat and should automatically shut off if tipped over.

Ever since I used this **Honeywell HZ-930 Heater**, I've stuck to honeywell heaters. They are simply amazing. My dogs lives in a den and it can get quite cold in the winters. What I needed was a heater that wouldn't be a fire hazardous and wouldn't burn my dog. The **Honeywell HZ-930 Heater **was perfect. It heated up the den well, and my dog loves it! I feel safe leaving my dog with the heater, and there never been any accidents. I felt so confident about this item that I got myself one for my room. I can leave it on my carpet, and nothing gets burns. It's super quiet, and doesnt disturb my sleep. If it gets too hot, all i have to do is turn it off and put it further away. It has a sleek design and is not too. For me, it is the perfect heater!

I bought this particular heater online for a few reasons. One, it was one of the few heaters that specifically stated it was UL listed and that it had the auto shut off if it tips over (perhaps others had it as well, but I wasn't going to take chances with a small child in the house).  Two, I wanted a QUIET heater because both my son and I are light sleepers and it would be going in one of our rooms, and the reviews I read were positive on that account. Three, I was intrigued by the different mode of heating and uses less energy.  Though I almost canceled my order because it took FOREVER to arrive, I am glad I did not. I'm not thrilled with the look - it actually looks a little cheap to me - I think it works great. It is absolutely silent, which is what I wanted. It warms me up very quickly - another plus. I'm not sure it does a great job of heating a room. We tried it in my son's room, which is small, and with the door mostly shut it warmed the room up a little too well, but in a larger or open space the heat tends to stay close to the unit. This actually is an advantage for me. I can place the heater close to my side of the bed and I stay warm but my husband does not complain that it gets too warm! Other things I like - it is lightweight and has a great handle on top so easy to carry from room to room. The heating element "glows" so it works like a nightlight as well in my son's room. The unit does not get too hot to touch. Things I don't like - again, not the most attractive unit I've seen. Only has three settings: off, low, and high, so it can be hard to adjust to provide just the right amount of heat.

The Honeywell heater model# HZ-930 is perfect for any moderate sized room.  It is exceptionally quiet to the point I can barely hear it my bedroom when everything is perfectly still.  It does not have a fan so all heat is radiated.  The heat is so good though, you can feel it clear across the room.  I wanted a heater that was safe so it had to have the tip-over switch and a heat guard for kids or pets.  I guess the only thing I would add to this heater would be more heat settings or better yet, a thermostat to be able to set the exact temperature.  The heater works so well that I tend to get too warm if I leave it going all night.  But it will definitely compete with the cold.  No matter how cold it was outside, I was never cold inside.  I do recommend this unit especially in the dead of winter.  If you don't have a larger area to heat, this heater could roast you out of the room.  The good part about that is this heater can take care of smaller rooms ***AND* larger ones.**
