We use radiators in our upstairs bedrooms and bathroom since they are not heated. We purchased this Honeywell heater a while back when we went to replace our older heaters for more energy efficient ones and have found they work great. The price was great and it has lasted for a while. Before going to bed, we usually turn them on about a half an hour before and then the rooms are nice and warm when we go to sleep. The one we have in the bathroom is usually on all day and leaves the bathroom at a warm temperature and not chilly. The heater does not make noise and when it is not in use, we just store it in the hallway closet. The wheels allow it to be easily moved from room to room.

i bought this heater last winter as an extra for our guest room, which has no heat due to the fact that we don't have central heating in our house. it's nice that it's quiet and not noisy like the forced fan heaters. there's no weird oily smell or anything like in our older model, so that's nice too. it does seem to take a little while to heat up the room though; so i'd suggest preheating the room for maybe an hour or so before you use it. i had tried a different honeywell one with a digital display which was pricier, but in fact, this one was the better performer, even though it was a lot cheaper!

I have 3 of these in my house and I personally prefer it over the dish heaters. While it doesn't heat as fast as the dish heaters, it is able to heat the entire room, doesn't have an annoying night light, and no loud alarm. The unit is built quiet solid so it probably doesn't need an alarm. It takes much longer than a dish heater to get hot so it takes 1-2 hours before the room is palpably warmer (depending on the size of the room). It consumes more energy than dish heaters but provides more comforting heat. The heat is uniform around the room instead of a narrow beam of heat from dish heaters. Quietly quiet and very sturdy. Main complaints would only be the electricity use. I plugged 2 of these into the same outlet and it shorted the room.

My parents have had this space heater for awhile now and they use it to heat their basement. It was very effective for them so when we bought a house with a chilly downstairs we went out and bought one as well. The only problem with this space heater in our house is that we have vaulted ceilings. It works well to heat the part of the house with regular ceilings but the heat just rises in the room with a vaulted ceiling. We leave it on in the kitchen throughout the winter. I like that it doesn't have any exposed heating element or flame so it feels safer than some space heaters. My dog sleeps beside it every night during the winter and I feel comfortable that he's not going to get burned. Overall it's a good heater and we've been pleased with it.

We live in northern Pennsylvania. Due to rising electrical rates, we have been forced to turn down our thermostats this winter. Although we can wrap up in blankets to keep warm, our daily showers were no fun! My husband went to the store and brought home this space heater. Every morning we turn it on and shut the bathroom door. In just a few minutes, the bathroom is warm! It feels much better to step out of the shower into a warm room! We also find that this space heater quickly heats one of our upstairs guest bedrooms when we have visitors. Normally, we do not heat our upstairs becuase we don't use it in the winter. When we have visitors (or one of our sons is home) we still do not want to heat the upstairs. The Honeywell HZ-680 Space Heater heats the bedroom very quickly and efficiently. Our electric bill has not shown any significant increase since we started using this heater. In fact, our bill has gone down!

We purchased the Honeywell space heater a few years ago and have found it to be very effective at keeping the room that we use it in comfortable and warm. It seems good for an average size room but we haven't tested it in a large room. It has an easy to use thermastat to control the temperature and different heat "power" settings from low to high (we have only used it on low). It is attractive, easly to move around and totally quiet with the exception of a very quick click when the thermostat turns on and off. I like this heater because it is not too hot to the touch so I do not have to be concerned about the children getting burned. It also has a safety feature on it that makes it turn off should it be tipped over. I do wish that it had a longer power cord to move it further into the middle of the room. We are very pleased with this heater and would not hesitate to purchase another Honeywell product in the future.

I love this Honeywell heater as it will heat up the bedroom in no time. Can be left on all night and only has to use the lowest setting. Keeps the room nice and warm. This is a great savior on money as you don't need to use the house heater at night. At night you only need to have heat in the bedroom so why spend all the extra money on heating all of the house. The heater is also safe to use. If it get knocked over it shuts off. All you have to do is not having it touch or be to close to any of the funiture. It does get hot so be careful. The heater also has wheels so you can roll it around. Its great to take it into the bathroom when you need to take a shower. I do this all the time during the winter. Our bathroom is cold. So what I do is turn in all the way up and shut the door to the bathroom for about 10 minutes. Then I go in and take my shower and get dressed. I then turn it off and put it back in the bedroom and leave for work.
