The area heated is a fairly large area while not consuming a large amount of electricity Performance It's performance levels are high I regards to many models that are similar to this style of heater Ease of Use Once plugged in you simply adjust knobs to whichever temperature you may want the room to be and set anywhere in the room it may fit allowing adequate space between anything that may cause a fire including drapes or upholstery Durability This heater without any maintenance should last a lifetime as long as you treat it correctly Design The slim profile is a very neat design allowing its appearance to be very uniquely designed to look like a regular baseboard electric heater even though it may be portable and can be moved around the room Safety Their are no extremely dangerous hazards which are unique to this design from any other heater, it should be proportionate to room and allow space between anything flammable

We got this when our baby was born in the winter and we had her crib in our room. We didn't want to turn on the central heating when we went to bed (both to save energy and cost, plus it got too hot for us under the warm comforter). So we got this space heater and it was placed closer to her crib. We normally put it on a low setting and that was quite sufficient to keep her area nice and cozy. It was quiet, so it didn't wake the baby up. Of course, we'd check on the baby during the night to make sure that she wasn't too hot. It's an efficient heater that doesn't break your bank. Very simple to use. It has a timer that you can set. You can also adjust the temperature (you can choose if you want it in Fahrenheit or Celsius). It would have been nice if the display was LED, instead we had to turn the light on at night to adjust anything.

I love this heater. It's in my son's room in the basement where it is always cold. He can set the thermostat to whatever temp he wants (typically warmer the better) and this heater has no problem heating and keeping warm his 12x20 room. The digital read out is easy to read and set that my 7 year old can even set the thermostat if needed. Performance This heater puts out a lot of heat but it doesn't feel like it is in one spot. Fills the entire 12x20 room. Ease of Use The digital panel on the front is very easy to use. Even my 7 year old daughter can set and adjust the temp, power on and off as needed. Durability So far no issues. Have had this heater for 9 months and no issues at all. Plastic parts seem very thick and sturdy. Design Very sleek design. Wish it came in other colors such as black or even other colors that would match a colored room such as red, blue, green, etc. Safety As with all heaters you need to be sure nothing will be dropped or fall on top of this baseboard heater. Ours is on an open wall. It can get hot enough on the top to burn if a hand is held on it for a long period of time.

This is a quiet yet very effective space heater, and I appreciate the safety feature that it is hard to knock over since it is low to the ground. Because it is so long and low to the ground, however, and the manual states that it needs 3 ft in all directions from any furniture, bedding, curtains, etc., you need a fairly large room to make use of this. We had been using it for our baby's room when he was still in a crib, and it worked great. Now that he's in a toddler bed, however, we can't have it there while he's wandering around, so it's collecting dust at the moment. I'd use it again, however, as soon as the kids are old enough to know better.

I like this space heater because it I feel I can trust its safety features. I like the timers and the adjustable settings - it leaves room for a lot of personalization. We have had some problems with it turning off and not turning back on, but we've owned it for a long time and use it almost every night, so it could just be getting worn out. It works very well in our basement bedroom in Wisconsin. Stays warm enough to sleep! Performance Stays warm but doesn't overheat Ease of Use Once I figured out how to work it, it was really easy! Durability AFter awhile it has quit working/will turn off by itself for no reason Design I like the design/baseboard design Safety I feel safe using this product

I got this for my cold bathroom. It is easy to use. It keeps the room very warm. I don't freeze when coming out of the shower anymore. I like that it's digital, more than having manual knobs to turn like my old one.

I need a new heater to put in my new room that I made out of my old garage. I wanted something that I felt that can heat the room pretty well. I decided to buy the Honeywell HZ519 Digital Low Profile Silent Comfort Heater. There are plenty of reasons to like this heater. First of all, the heater does a pretty decent job in a not too large room. The cord is long enough and the unit is not too big. You need to be careful with curtains and the like, but that applies to all heaters. It is easy to operate with the digital controls, and I like the fact that you can set the temperature in Fahrenheit and Celsius. There also is a timer on board. It is easy to set the controls. Also this heater save us some gas and electric bills while keeping the whole-house heated, with not having to use the regular heater that we have in the house. Overall this heater works perfectly and I recommend it highly for those who are in the market for another heater.

After getting our furnace fixed for the 3rd season in a row, we decided it would be best to keep the temps down and just buy a small heater to put in the kitchen. My hubby found this one on clearance, which is even nicer! It's very compact, has a handle, timer, it rotates and when it reaches the temp you want, it shuts off until it gets cold again, so that is nice! It is nice to stand in front of it if your legs or feet are cold. :-)  Our kitchen is VERY small, so I do not think it would be good if you have a very large space to warm up. It is not one that you can touch, so keep animals and kids away from it. It has been nice to us this winter. I am happy to say that I have not had to plug it in for a couple of weeks now because Spring is technically this weekend. Let us hope that it comes and STAYS!!! No more cold, wet, gloomy, windy weather. We have to have sun, so we can turn our heaters down for good! BRING ON SPRING!

This space heater does it all. It has the tip over guard to prevent mishaps/fires as well as a very quiet running operation. You put one of these in a medium size room and just see how well it heats and how soon it will have the room warm.

This heater does a nice job heating a room at a reasonable price.  It heats quickly and is safe to use.  The heater was highest rated room heater by Consumer Reports, and has worked very well in the several months that we've owned it.   The heater has allowed us to keep our thermostat low at night and still keep our bedroom very warm.  The main detractions are the size of the heater, and the difficulty in reading the digital display without turning on a light source.   I would recommend this heater for anyone that wants to heat a room efficiently and quietly, and wants to save on their heating bill.
