I own two large dogs and a rabbit and I am always trying to keep my house smelling nice and trying to keep the air in my home clean and free of allergens.  I bought the Honeywell 50250 Air Purifier about three years ago to help me in these efforts.  I liked the fact that it claimed to purify such a large space and that it claimed to suck up pet hair and allergens from the air.  I found that it performed well in both of these areas.  It also comes with a lifetime warranty on the hepa filter inside.  The filter, however, does get clogged up and needs to be cleaned more often than the device...
