Honeywell Heater - Surround Heater and Fan Reviews

I have a sunroom that only has access by going out on my back porch and  then into the sunroom.  There is no heat in the sunroom, but it has windows all around. This room is filled with plants all year, so it is important to keep the temperature pretty even. I had a portable baseboard heater that worked pretty well, but my space was limited and it didn't heat the whole room.  My Honeywell surround heater does the job and it shuts off when it gets to the temperature I have it set for and turns on when it cools down in the room.  It has Off, Fan, Low and high settings and thermostat settings...

This Honeywell heater has been one of my absolute favorite heaters.

The price was reasonable, and it is quiet, effective, and safe.  I did not notice a large increase on my electricity bill either.

The color and shape are very low-key and fit well into any room I used it in.  We have an older home with high ceilings, so just any old heater won't do.  This one did the trick.

It also resists tipping over and has somehow survived pets running into it, teens kicking it over accidentally, and seems to have a nice wide radius of heating area.  I also like that it fits into nearly any awkward...

I bought this heater for my grandmother.  Although she does not get it out very often, it is a pretty good heater.  It is good for small to medium sized rooms as an additional heat source.  It probably would not be good in an open room as a single source.  The heat comes out all the way around it, so it is good to sit in the middle of the room.  But it only has a 6 foot cord, so you can't get very far away from the wall. Overall, a good product for the money.

My husband bought this heater as a means to heat up our large master bedroom.  When i saw how small the model was I was very skeptical about the amount of heat it would generate.

I turned it on and must admit - IT WORKED!!! It takes a few minutes to get started, but once it's going, the room gets really warm.  Good product, so good I'm considering buying one for every room in the house. 

I have owned the Honeywell Surround Heater and Fan for about a year now; through two cold winters! My home is very large wide tall ceilings which causes heating our home to be very expensive! While during the daytime we still use the furnace, at night in order to save money we turn it off and simply use our Honeywell heater! I have two toddlers that share a room and it is so important to keep them warm at night! We picked up this little heater to use in our 24' 5th wheel camper that we purchased this year. We didn't want to constantly use the propane heater, we go to campsites that we rent electricity from. We decided to get a little space heater and this heater was the one that we chose. It's really good if the temperatures don't drop to below 35 degrees or so. After that it doesn't have enough power to sustain itself below that temperature. So we went back to Wal-Mart and purchased another exact one and when the temperature dropped down to 18 degrees outside we were able to maintain 70 degrees inside...

The honeywell heater is great for small spaces, I use it in my RV instead of using the big energy hog that came with it. The honeywell heater keeps me nice and toasty at my table or watching a dvd.  Since I really like the cold it gives me enough warmth to stave off the cold without making it to hot.  I also use it when on the road in my big truck and on low it keeps the cab quite comfortable even in the cold climates of the north.  Funny the way I found out about this is my diesel lines froze up and in the winter when a driver one learns to carry a backup especially for keeping warm and I...

This little heater is not for anything larger than a bathroom. I bought it because it was small, but I was trying to heat a large room and it would have to run all the time. The moment I turned it on for the first time, it set off the smoke detector. After using it for 3 months, I turned it to the high setting and once again, it set the alarm off. After having it sit all summer, I turned it on to heat in the fall months, it set off the smoke alarm. This heater smells bad and likes to set off smoke alarms. It also rattles while on... which concerns me. Not a recommended buy from me.

Love the size and the fact that heat generates all the way arround instead of pointing in one direction.  More energy effecient than other heaters I have used.  It is safer for my grandchildren than most.

I would recommend this product to anyone especially those who are heating a room and not just an individual person or spot.  It fits into any decor and is not bulky or tacky looking.
