We have used these heaters for two years now in the upstairs bedrooms of our old Victorian house.  Have an old fuel oil furnace that got so expensive to run a couple years ago that we tried turning it down and heating the bedrooms with these.  Keeps everyone toasty and we saved over half the price of fuel the first year!  Safe and convenient, just have to remember to turn them on about 20 mins before going to bed if you want to be warm right away.
