Honeywell Heater - Ceramic Compact - HZ365 Review

Ceramic type heaters have one truly built in safety feature: They NEVER Get REALly HOT!!  They, unlike the Very dangerous "Turn on and Watch the Fiery Wires Glow" space heaters and Mobile Home Park Scourges of the past, are somewhat slow to heat; ceramic takes some warming up.

They're built such that even a towel, carelessly left nearby, even touching it, will not burn!!!

It also has the usual tip-over safety switch- besides being built low to the ground and relatively safe looking.

In my home there are 2 perfect nooks for small retreats: one always warm, where my wife and her sewing retinue reside;  the other cold, the one for my home office.

My desk and files, in a corner,  are faced by 2, 8x4ft french windows, yeah they're drafty and quite cool in the quite cool saeason.

This little heat pot fits under my desk!   There it occillates, back and forth, keeping my unshod feet and legs Always Warm.

It comes with a remote control for which one could find many uses: mine is used to save me from having to bend over, reach under my desk and turn on my little, ceramic god of fire- er warmth.   It also has a 10 hour timer, which I'm less sure of why I'd ever use it??  Since I use my heater as an on demand heat source, it's off when I leave my desk- for any extended period.  Gotta love that remote!  Right in my desk drawer, under my typing fingers.

Haven't had it long enough to do a power sucking evaluation but, used on demand only, it won't be much! 

All in all, besides catching it on sale, this is probably the lowest price, but not the "cheapest", "space heater" I've ever owned! 

Neither the box nor its contents specified a "sufficient for room of xxx SQ FT."  This is simply a "Space Heater", you define the space.
