Quick View: Can you be in love with a table fan? Well, I am so it is obviously possible. This little fan looks like it could only cool a small area but it can literally cool down my whole house. It's quiet and blasts air like no other fan I have had. It's small but boy, does it pack a punch!

About the Honeywell Super Turbo High Performance Fan (HT804)

This fan is all plastic and weighs in at only four pounds. At 10.9 x 6.4 x 11.3 inches, it fits almost anywhere - a desk, table, or wherever you want. It also can be wall mounted to circulate air. It has three speeds and tilts to 90 degrees. It doesn't oscillate but it does seem to spray coolness throughout the room.

I bought this fan to use when I work out. I get so hot that I slow down and "gas out" and I knew, as the weather got warmer, I would have to have something to keep me cool. This does and then some. Even on the lowest setting, it is like a huge blast of air that cools not just me but the whole room quickly. It's quiet although not silent obviously. I love the sounds of fans so I have a feeling I will be using this when I sleep when my husband doesn't have the air conditioning on. I like to be cold when I sleep and then cover up - even in summer.

As an air circulator, this fan can be adhered to the wall and will help either an air conditioner or a heater to move the air in the room. This may be a small fan, but it has huge, huge power. I have the white one and just ordered the black one for my son to use in his room. He keeps stealing mine.

Best of all, this fan is so inexpensive. It was under $13.00! If you need a small fan with big power, this fan is for you. I have it running now well across the room on the lowest setting and I am literally chilled (and it is HOT in here!).

My Viewpoint

Best fan I ever bought. Best deal. Best cooling. Best air circulator. My number one fan! 5 stars.

Oh, that's a good suggestion. I use mine right in front of me when I workout doing cardio. I don't use machines much but the clamp idea is a really good one for those who do. It sure makes a difference to have a fan going when you workout!

It really is, especially for such a low price.

Yeah just bought this fan myself from Target. I needed a good small fan to cool me when I am on the Stairmaster. As a trick to you handy types out there if you get some heavy duty velcro and a black vice clamp it can be attached and or removed quite nicely from some gym equipment. Remember if you exercise on stationary eqipment it is very important to have some kind of fan to help evaporate your sweat and cool you down. If you don't you can easily overheat especially with the summer coming up.

That is another thing about these fans...they don't rob your pocket book. I am headed to Amazon!

That one is $19.99 and looks very cool. I am going to buy it even though I really don't need it. lol. It is on Amazon, could be cheaper elsewhere.

Oooooooooo I am going to have to look for the one on the oscellating base for the bed room. Hubby faces the little one right on him, which gets to me, which makes me have a stiff neck, which makes me cranky. That on is perfect and then all of my fans can be in my rummage :)

It's amazing how such a little fan can put out so much air! These work better than clunky box fans. They also have one that is on an oscillating base for a few bucks more that I may buy.

What? No air conditioning in steamy Georgia? I personally like fans better but my husband says all they do is circulate hot air. (Kinda like him. HAHAHA)

This is a very good investment for bedrooms. Small, powerful, pretty quiet, and all plastic. The grill is such that even little fingers can't fit in there so you don't have to worry about the blades much.

My computer is acting up, maybe it's getting too hot! ;>

AmyA wrote on Apr 24, 2008 at 7:53AM

I love the two I have. One for work and one for home...I sold my other two floor fans in my rummage...no need for those anymore :)

Fans are a big help down here in GA. ;>

I am thinking of investing in little fans like this for the kids rooms, thanks for the review,I want to get a big one for the house and blow the air right threw on those hot days.

PattyTherre wrote on Apr 24, 2008 at 12:42AM

I usually use window fans in rooms with no a/c but I like this little powerhouse better. My husband worked for Carrier, the biggest air conditioning company around, for 16 years and do you think we got central air? Noooooo. But I'm not bitter. Much. Haha.

I have one that looks very similar in my garage, it was here when I bought the house 3 years ago. It works great but I am not sure if it is a honeywell, as all the outer casing has been scratched and no labels...;)
