I bought this hepa filter a little over a year ago and it has ran great and certainly lived up to the honey well name. It is very quiet if it is on low and we don't notice the sound in our living room. When we first turned it on after about two hours we noticed that the air smelled so clean and it was easier to breath. We also get colds maybe once a year instead of approximatly 5-6 times a year like we used to so it definity is doing something. I do not like however how big, bulky and unattractive it is. I wish it would not take up so much room and would blend in a little better. People have come over and made comments such as it looks like a central air unit. It does resemble a small model of one. It is hard to find a space for it that isn't in the way and like I said it can be an eye sore. I wish it was like the tower ones that are skinny and sleek but maybe it can't be for some reason I just don't know.
