Imaginative special effects driven comic fantasy Great Kids Film

Rick Moranis plays an eccentric inventor whose latest invention suddenly gets activated when a baseball crashes through the attic window which inadvertantly shrinks his own and his neighbor's kids to tiny proportions.

The kids attempt to get their parents attention but they can't be seen are locked inside the attic.   They have to get out of the attic and back into the main part of he house.  They wind up in the garden where everyday objects, not to mention insects and animals create life and death situations.   Very good special effects that aren't too scary will delight and entertain everyone....

THE MOVIE HONEY I SHRUNK THE KIDS IS A GREAT MOVIE.
I HIGHLY RECOMMNED IT. I ACTUALLY WAITED IN LINE TO GET IT WHEN IT CAME OUT
ON DVD. I WILL SHOW IT TO MY GRANDSON THAT IS ONLY 14 MONTHS OLD AT THIS TIME. I KNOW CAMERON WILL LOVE IT AS MUCH AS HIS GRANDMA DOES.
I WOULD RATE THIS MOVE A # 5.

Funniest Ever!!!!
comedy fan, very picky about kids films, married, Just Like Good Movies!

One of the most hilarious movies in my hugh comic collection.
Can watch it any time - even right after one session!!!

The second one - Honey we shrunk overselves - was not as great as this one.

A must have, if you like kids comedy / Sci-Fi comedy.
