Semi-interesting, but overall just average

a movie lover, into some dramas but not all

I had never heard of this movie until I saw it on my TV listing, so what does that tell you? It told me that Honey, starring Jessica Alba, probably didn't get good reviews. I watched it anyway because I love seeing really good dancing and based on the plot I thought this movie would show some of this.

Honey is about a dancer played by Jessica Alba who is trying to make it as a choreographer in the music video business. At the same time, she has a strong connection to some urban kids who she teaches hip-hop too. Can Honey reach her dreams of stardom and still have time to help the kids? ...

Good Plot, Bland Characters

a movie buff, watching chick flicks, into trying new things, practical, health conscious

I hadn't heard of Honey when it was released in theaters, but I recently saw an ad for it on television and decided to watch it. I like Jessica Alba and it sounded like a good plot, so I tuned in. The plot is good, but there is no real depth to the characters which makes the movie just drag. This is a good chick flick to watch when you want a movie that doesn't require a lot of thought. Jessica Alba stars as a dance choreographer, with big dreams and a warm heart. A good movie, but seemed a little choppy

Honey was on tv last night (friday) so I decided to watch it. When i was watching i found it to be a typical dance movie, and you could read exactly what was going to happen in the movie. Don't get me wrong I do like dance movies and everything, but this one was a little too readable. I did like the little boy in the movie though, and all of the hip hop stars in the movie was also pretty cool, but overall you could tell exactly what was going to happen. But good ending though!
