Honda del Sol - 1994 Reviews

The Honda Del Sol is an amazing car. I am surprised no other company has copied this formula - small, fuel-efficient car, targa top, strong engine, great style, budget price.  I bought mine used and am amazed how, after 15 years of use, this little car still feels rock solid, drives like a three year old, and looks like a million dollars. The quality of materials is top notch, the design is simple and elegant, and the ride with the top off is as fun as driving gets.      My fellow critics of ViewPoint are all in agreement (each bestowing the coveted Five-Star award) that the Honda Del Sol is a Gold Star Roadster.

     This two-door sports car with a removable hardtop (that easily slips into shelf-clips of the trunk lid) is my wish that came true in 1994.  For that year as well as the next two, the 25,000 dollar price tag stopped its production at the end of 1996.  But as a used-car owner, I got the steal of a lifetime, because it functions as a twenty-five-thousand-dollar roadster.
