I love my minivan! As a family of six, with four kids ranging in age from newborn to 10 yrs old, the Honda Odyssey minivan, Touring edition is the perfect family vehicle. We are not the type of family that trades their cars in every couple of years for the newest model. Typically, we buy a car and use it until many years later, the cost of the repair is more than the value of the car. So our cars have to have excellent value and an excellent reputation for running well and running a LONG time. Our Honda Odyssey Touring has delivered. We'd always bought the base line models, thinking "we'd add on later", finally we treated ourselves to one with all the bells and whistles. The bells and whistles were worth it! The built in DVD player is a must with the kids, especially on those long road trips to visit family (why could we have had that growing up?!?). The leather seats - easy clean up, the seat warmers in the drivers & front passenger seats - fantastic! The navigation is great, especially when you're trying to get around construction or the rush hour traffic jams. The biggest seller for us though, was safety. With front and side air bags, run flat tires, back up camera and sensors, plus a ton more, you can't beat the safety features on a Honda Odyssey Touring, and they came standard! The price does reflect the extra features however, costing a few thousand dollars more than the next model down. Replacing the tires is also expensive, around $1200 for all four. The feeling of comfort and safety are worth it though.
