I have a 2005 Honda Odyssey and absolutely love it. When we first leased it my kids were all excited that the second row windows opened, I was just really happy it had air bags all around for extra safety. I have had it know for 4 years and knock on wood but have not had it in for service once. I leased it for 5 years which is an extremely long lease but I was trying to get out of a gas guzzeling SUV and am so happy I did. I would recommend to vehicle to anyone with children, I have 4 but can add the extra seat to the second row and make for for a total of 7 passengers which not many mini-vans...

We have owned this van for about 6 months. I like the way the van drives and handles. I also like the room and the looks. What I don't like about the van is the vibration and noise you get when the ECO kicks in (The fuel saving mode that disables 3 cylinders) It doesn't do it all the time but I really notice it if the radio is off. Also the best gas mileage I have gotten is 24 mpg, we get an average of 22-23 mpg. I do like the resale value of the van but having owned both I would buy a Toyota Seinna next time around.

The Honda Odyssey is a sturdy, dependable minivan. Its strengths include comfort, large cargo space, the option to seat 8 passengers, front and side airbags,and its optional automatic sliding doors. Its weaknesses include poor gas mileage, rather loud ride, and several blind spots in the right and left rear of the vehicle.
I would recommend the Odyssey to any family who does a lot of carting around..of children and cargo. However, the gas mileage can be a draw back...particularly for in-town driving.
I am on my second Odyssey. My 2006 was hit and flipped onto it's roof. My daughter & I walked away with NO injuries!
I had it in for warranty service once in over 1 year. From day 1 it was a great vehicle.
Gas mileage leaves a bit to be desired. Though comfortable and stylish, a tank of gas can go quickly especially in city conditions.
The prices to buy this mini van is good because of the economy. the gas prices however is very costly. Altho aside from the expenses it has a lot of room
