Most HelpfulThere are so many features that are lovable about this vehicle. The suicide doors are fun and provide a wide open space when opened. The Element can be changed very easily from a 'car' to a hauling machine. The seats can be put up to the side for more cargo space or they can be taken out completely for a completely open back end. There are power plugs in the back of the vehicle. The part I love the most is the waterproof interior. You can opt for the no carpet option and you can hose out the vehice very easily. I like the ruggedness of the inside because there isn't any carpet. The only thing that...
read full review »We've had our Element since 2003 and it's been problem free the entire time. Maintenance is basic. It's a fun car to drive. We've driven it cross country twice! We love the suicide doors. The design is very clever because of the doors. Compact on the outside and surprisingly roomy on the inside. We call it our clown car because of the deceptively small exterior and large interior. We have the all-wheel drive with 6 cylinders. It's a little lacking in power and pick up but overall it's a great car.
I really enjoy my element. It drives really nice. I travel state wide with my band on tour and before we got our bus this was it. It took us where we wanted to go, was light on gas, and was comfortable throughout the tour.
They are so easy to clean, which was a great aspect of the car with three guys traveling day to day.
People made fun of it because it isn't a great looking car, but it is unique, and really is roomy and set up well, which makes up for the unique look
I am a large person and found this SUV to be very roomy! I have to admit that as a short heavy person it was hard to get up into, but I eventually managed. I took it for a test drive and was able to manuever the pedals with no problem and turn the wheel with no problem. The car handled perfectly and I decided that this car was just made for me!
I like my element due to its unique look and very confortable to drive. It also helped us move from southern California to Portland, since it's so roomy and we carried a lot staff by it. I just wish that I could buy a hybrid element some year later. Is it romour that Honda is going to produce hybrid element?
