I have had no problems with this car.  It is very comfortable to drive.  It has a good sound system, including CD player, XM radio, and an MP3 player port.  I drive about 60% highway, 40% streets and have been averaging 45mpg.  But gas mileage is not the only "green" reason to buy this car.  When you are at a stop sign, red light, or stuck in traffic, the gas engine will usually turn off.  That means no pollution coming out of your tailpipe. Why "usually?" If the A/C is blasting full power, or you have been stopping/starting repeated in a short amount of time, the gas engine will remain on to charge the batteries.  Even so, the 1.3 liter engine doesn't use much gas.  While 1.3 liter may seen small, remember it is augmented by the electrical engine.  This allows for good acceleration, something previous models lacked.

You are surrounded by airbags.  These are standard, so you don't pay extra for them as you might with other cars.
