Overall, I love and thoroughly appreciate my Civic Hybrid. Now that my car is plenty broken in, I am getting approximately 44 miles per gallon on average. The gauges in the car can easily cause someone to obsess about fuel mileage. I have learned to pay attention, but not too much. My car is dependable, and I appreciate only having to fuel up once every 10-14 days even though I commute about 25 miles each direction to and from work. The car has enough ability to accelerate when I need it, and I have learned to be a more relaxed driver by driving this car. …

Overall, this car is dependable and nice to look at. However, I average about 26 mpg (supposed to get about 38 mpg)...Before I had this car I had a V6 engine with better pick-up. It's been hard to adjust to a 4-cylinder. I have the special edition model, which has some fanatastic extra features, such as a moon roof and a better stereo system. I've never had a problem with customer service either...they replaced my stereo for me when I got a cd stuck in there, and they've fixed my windows when the motors died.…

This car is great. It has the nice, older design, many features and will last forever if you take care of it. I've had no problems with mine to-date and I plan on keeping this car for a long time. We drove this car over 3000 miles during one trip With two kids and I must say, it did great and we were never once cramped. You get the great gas mileage, reliable car, excellent re-sale value, and it looks great, too. Buying this car is would be great for any family of 4 or less. — …

I used to have this car and now belongs to my daughter. We have been using it for 2 years and it runs as new. So far the only payments I've done to it are: gas, oil changes, changed tires, and change of breaks. Hondas are the best auto company. Their cars last for years, and it helps on saving gas. — I recommend their cars to everybody. Especially the new honda civic 2008. — Also, it is easier and faster to re-sell. —…

I maintain my own car, but thanks to Honda's engineering that has meant basically oil and filter changes for 50k miles so far. I get 33-35mpg mixed driving year round (manual transmission), and better than 40mpg straight highway. Handling is fairly tight, much better than larger cars I've driven, and at 6'2", I don't feel cramped.…

I bought a used 2005 Honda Civic and I thought the car was great! It got good gas mileage, but not the great mileage that it professed to have. It didn't have very much power, but then again, it isn't a V6. I loved the car, never caused any problems. Scheduled Maintenance and Auto Insurance costs were high…

i love this car!! it was dark colored so it was hot in the summer but the a/c was fantastic. it cooled quickly and well on the lowest setting (even for our south texas summers). it gets amazing gas mileage. on the road it gets 40 mpg and around 30 in town. i did have trouble with the starter not wanting to start but that was resolved.…

I don't work too far from work, but traffic makes my daily drive to work last for over an hour! This car is much better than my old car in the sense that it is comfortable and doesn't guzzle a million gallons of gas when I want to sit in my car with the AC on. The MPG is great for when I take trips out of town. —…

THis is my 3rd Honda Civic and I am in love with these cars. I am ready to move on to a Civic Hybrid and have the Civic quality with the better mileage and evironmental safety. — Great mileage, safe for such a small car and drives forever unless someone hits you and totals it! —…
