I am a car nut and over the past 12 years have bought a good number of cars. Every car I've ever purchased has been brand new- right off the lot. My burning checkbook is proof! Just for compairison, here is the list of cars that I have purchased:
1996 BMW Z3
2000 Jeep Wrangler Saraha
2002 BMW 325i
2004 Land Rover Freelander (worse car ever made had for 6 months)
2004 Dodge Ram 1500 Lonestar Edition Crew Cab
2008 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L
Don't get me wrong, I'd still be driving that Jeef if I hadn't totalled it on ice and next in line would be the Dodge, but at 12 mpg, well, you can see why I went with the Honda.
My job has me on the road averaging about 3,000 miles a month. The Honda really has a sporty drive feel to it and is a blast to move in and out of traffic with. But here's the true reason to buy one-- THEY JUST LOOK AWSOME! I know the '07 owners probably hate us with the new ones, but man is it a cool car. I'm getting about 26 miles per gallon, and I still get the acceleration I had in my BMW's. The leather is top notch and the sound system (270 watts), will really pump out the music. The sub woofer is really, really, really deep if you are into that.
This car is a keeper. I try to keep it clean, but a black car on Chicago roads in the winter just doesn't make for a clean combination.
