Clean, well appointed but very poorly located.

The hotel is a good value considering all of the amenities offered. It was clean and comfortable. On the negative side the hotel is located along a section of route 1 that makes it exceedingly difficult to turn around and get back to it if you make a mistake and miss it, which is needlessly easy to do. Also the desk staff could be much more animated and courteous to their customers. Their demeanor lends credibility to the sentiment that it's cold in New England but it has nothing to do with the weather

Recreational Attactions: Short Drive, Visit Historic Salem while your in the area....

A pleasant surprise

Homewood's suit was more comfortable and better furnished. The buffet breakfast was a pleasant surprise in its breadth of offerings. Homewood Suites was well worth the few dollars.

Dining: Short Drive, There is a huge variety of restaurants nearby on route 1 ranging from Chinese to Italian to steak or seafood.
