My grandmother used to make the best BBQ sauce you've ever tasted. She had her own secret recipe and there are only a few of us that have it now that she has gone to be wtih her Lord. The basic ingredients are standard stuff: tomato sauce, ketchup, tomato paste, oregano, mustard, etc. But she had a couple of secret ingredients that made it better than any other. She had a specific type of liquid smoke that she put in it that I thought was it's crowning glory. I make it about once a year and usually give it for Christmas. It's wonderful!
