Homedics Makeup Artist Studio Mirror Review

Homedics makes many handy bath and household items. This is one that our home can not live without! This is named: Makeup Artist Studio Collection. What it is a great looking lighted mirror that has two sides, magnified up to 7X or normal mirror.

This is well made with brass fittings so that they don't wear out like the dollar store varitiy. The finish of the one I own is satin nickel and it came in several other finishes, like an antique bronze and chrome, I suppose to match your bathroom decore. The size of this light is perfect for setting on counters and seems to be close to where you want to see. The base of this is heavy so that it is not easily moved. It stays put. I liked the fact that it is not a light weight object, but it is more like a lamp than a mirror. It is well built and it store easy, too.

This mirror is perfect for doing eyebrows to makeup! All three of us wear glasses and it is a trip trying to see without glasses, and even a bigger trip to apply eye makeup without being able to see where the line should go!

We have owned this for almost four years and have yet to replace the bulb. Two teenagers who love to leave lights on and leave the room for hours....so it has served its purpose in our home. The light works well in low lit rooms, too.

Plus now that one is wearing contacts, this was helpful at the beginning of that process. The magnifaction side works really well for eye brow plucking, and then flip around to the normal side to see how it looks in normal sight and light.
