Home of the Brave Review

Samuel L. Jackson, Jessica Biel and Chad Michael Murray play in Home of the Brave, a movie that shows what happens when soldiers come home from a war.

Plot:  Three soldiers return home from a length stint from the war in Iraq.  It shows how each person struggles with returning to a home they once knew and trying to live the life they lived before the war.

What I thought:  Like "Shawshank Redemption", Home of the Brave shows you the after effect of a live changing ordeal.  It's a look at what it's like to come home from a war and try to pick up an old life.  The life has gone one without these soldiers while they were gone and they're still stuck back in the war-zone.  Some soldiers return home, those who do will never be the same.  It's real, it's hard-hitting, it's truthful and powerful.  This movie is not for kids but I strongly suggest everyone else watch this and see the tragic, painful truth of what happens to our heroes when they return home.
