I bought this pizza mostly because of the photo on the label: the pizza is virtually covered in meat. So I was really shocked when I took it out of the package and I could count the little pieces of sausage! It's mostly cheese on top.

But, I had it, it was open, so I popped it into the microwave. (I could have put it in the oven, which would probably make a better pizza, but it said to put it directly on the oven rack, which probably would have meant a cheesy mess on the rack and the bottom of the oven, so I opted to nuke it.) I've had similar products from different companies and, frankly, I was expecting something that was barely worth eating. I was so surprised. I have to admit, it's a good pizza. I'll buy it again. Even with microwaving it, it's a good pizza. The pepperonis are so thin they'd blow away in a good breeze! You can count the sausages! But it tastes good!

At 8.75 ounces, it's about right for lunch, or a starter for dinner for one. At $4, it seems a little expensive.

Update 04-19-09. So, today I bought another one; wow, what a difference! I cooked it the same way as the last one, and the edge crust was so tough I could barely eat it. In fact, I didn't finish it.

In my original review, I gave it 3 stars; today, I would give it one, so I averaged it out and changed it to 2. And I would not recommend it to anybody based on the one I had today.
