USAA Banking and Insurance
USAA is the company that my family has used for insurance for a long time. The only way to have access to this insurance company is if you were in the military or if one of your family members had their insurance through USAA.

I LOVE STATEFARM ! I live in castro valley ca and the statefarm out here have been nothing but helpfull and the office in hayward are right on top of things i have never had to wait very long at all to get one of my questions answered the customer service is get and that reall does say alot about a company it really does ! If you or any of your family members are members of the military, or have served in the military in the past, then you may be eligible for USAA membership. My parents were members, and I have established my own membership since I graduated from college. I would not use any other insurance company.

I've been a member for 17 years and have financed two houses and a car with them. Lately, bank reps have started to promote mortgage refi and other offerings. While I love USAA, the reps should handle the question you called about and stop perusing accounts to determine what financial vehicle they want to offer.

State Farm adds the personal touch of an agent and office personel that are friendly and helpful. They are willing to work with you and help you find the plan that's right for you. Lets face it-the prices don't really vary that much from one company to another!
Erie Insurance
My home was robbed and a LIFETIME of jewelry was stolen. Some of it, I had had appraised and paid an additional premium for a jewelry rider for years. I was told when I bought the rider (and it is listed in the policy) that each specific piece was covered for the amount indicated with no deductible. When it came time to pay for that stolen jewelry I was told that they were not going to pay that price because their replacement firm said they could replace it for less. I was 18 when I purchased my first vehicle. I called many insurance companies and only one got back to me in a timely matter; American Family. I didn't shop around or really know what I was doing when I purchased auto insurance. Jenny was so nice to me and often gave me AmFam paraphenelia. While NJM may provide a few one-size-fits-all insurance options, anyone with a situation that consists of more than one address or more than one car will be severely disappointed. I recently had their representatives command me where to park my owned-outright vehicles with liability only coverage. Poor attitudes prevail, unnecessary formality is present with every call, and changing anything on your policy will result in a thorough review by their underwriters. I ALSO BUY THE EMERGENCY ASSISTANT PROGRAM AND IT WORK VERY GOOD. I HAVE USED IT MANY TIMES.THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY GOOD. THEY ALLOW ME TO PAY ONLY ONE PAYMENT AS DOWN PAYMENT WHICH WAS USEFUL.
