My husband and I recently purchased a condo and, of course, we are making it our own and part of that process has been painting every room. Ralph Lauren Satin Finish Paint
My daughter wanted to paint her bedroom walls red. The current color was tauper and we weren't real sure that it would work. I spoke with a representative at Home Depot who explained about primers and proper technique in painting the walls so that we would be happy with the final product. Certainteed double hung vinyl replacement windows
I bought two of these replacement windows from a local business recently . I had heard that the Certainteed brand was an excellent one after doing some research and asking around. Also, the contractor had been in business for quite a few years and had an excellent reputation . I felt confident going with this brand to replace the 50 plus year old windows in my house .
I chose to replace only two initially to see if I was happy with them before replacing the entire house's windows and I am glad that I did .

Valspar Paint
I was very, very disappointed in this product! I usually buy the cheap $10/gal stuff at Wal-Mart but REALLY didn't have time or the energy to put a second coat on so I decided to spend the extra money and bought the more expensive $26/gal Valspar paint at Lowe's to try to save time and trouble. I was extremely disappointed! I was going from an off-white to a tan....not a lot of change so you would think that it would cover good...I was wrong. Camberlain Security Garage Door Opener Series 7220
An automatic door opener seems like a necessity to me. I can open the garage door from the safety of my locked car, drive in, and close the door again before I unlock the car. I can do the reverse on leaving my home. I enter the garage from my kitchen door and am never our of a locked area. We have experienced two home burglaries. That makes us very careful about safety measures. We've had this door opener several years, and we've had problems with it twice. In both cases, one of the springs broke. We shopped for an outdoor spa for a long time. We were concerned with warranty and longevity, not a 12 person tub with a TV and wet bar. All of the tubs we looked at were able to be lifted by me - a 90 lb duckling.
