Total Gym Total Gym XL

Total Gym Total Gym XL
health conscious, doing aerobics, walking and running

When my gym membership came due two years ago, it went up to $40.00 per month.  I attended aerobic/yoga/pilates classes three nights per week.  I thought this was quite an increase from $25.00 per week.  One Saturday morning, while channel surfing, I saw an informercial about a Total Gym.  The one they were advertising was over $1,000, which I could not afford.  I looked up Total Gym on the Internet and found one for $299.00 plus shipping and handling.  When I did the math, I realized I could pay for this in less than a year of going to the gym.  But would I use it once I had it at home? ...

I bought this stationary bike as a way to stay in shape and get my cardio in on the days when it is too cold or wet to go for a run.  If you are looking for a basic piece of exercise equipment this is the one for you.  It is a good price and a sturdy bike.  My over 250lb husband can use it no problem.  The seat takes some getting used to but it's no more uncomfortable than riding a regular bicycle.  All in all I really like this bike but I only gave it 3 stars because it is very basic.  You definetly get your money's worth though.

NordicTrack Incline Trainer X3

I love this treadmill. I have lost 5 times more weight on this machine. More than I have everf lost on any other treadmill. The 40% incline is challenging at first, but within a couple of weeks you can see your muscles just bulge out. I burn double the calories in half the time with the incline than any other machine I have ran on. I also love the one touch speed and incline button. Makes it more convient during the excercise to transition. I also love the fact that the speed only changes every .1 mile an hour. Gives me a chance to slow down between repetitions. My whole family like it to. It hold...

Discover simple, smooth performance with the Weslo Cardiostride Plus Manual Treadmill. Offering a great cardio workout. This treadmill is equipped with everything you need to lose weight and get fit  i  didn't have much money to spend on a unit, so I decided to go w/ the manual. I am extremely happy with it. Another reason I chose the manual was because I have 2 boys 3 & 5 and was concerned about the safety of having a powered one. It has proved to be very safe around the boys. Assembly was no problem at all. Great workout..At first by looking at the instructions it looked really difficult to...

I tried it the other day at my sister's gym and loved it. We have only 1 Cybex machine in my gym...I think it's the best kept secret. I think people may not like how it looks, not so glamorous, but man does it do the job!!

- This machine gives a fuller more complete leg motion than the elliptial

- Thighs get a great workout

- Great on joints

- Fun

Bowflex Select Tech Weights

Bowflex Select Tech Weights

DEC

I ordered the Bow Flex Select Tech weights and received them within 5 business days.  The weights are VERY easy to use and select the weight needed for the excersise.  I used to have 3 different weight sets and would have to stop and choose which ones for my next excercise.  Now all I have to do is place them in the cradle, rotate to the correct weight and LIFT!  This is phenomenoul for circuit training and fluctuating between the upper and lower bodies.  I'm not a big fan of the grips.  I had to go and buy gloves as the weights by themselves were giving me callouses.  Several of my friends...

The Bender Ball

The Bender Ball
an at home exerciser

DEC

The Bender Ball is fun to use and a good little item to add to your sit-up routine.  However, the fine print is so fine you can't read about the fact that you are automatically "enrolled" in a "free 30 day risk free program" that sends further DVD's and items each month at your expense.  All I wanted was the $9.99 Bender Ball and it turned into a total fiasco with calls to Customer Service and lines at the post office to return the items.  I am still waiting for the refund.   Purchase your Bender Ball at a store so you aren't scammed into additional charges

As most things you see on the tv, you think it is just a gimic. I bought my ab circle pro off of ebay and didnt think that you could use it in a lot of ways. I thought that you could just go from side to side. I liked the video that was included in it. It showed that when you seperate the bar from the knee pads that you could work your legs and also your butt.  I would do 25 of each exercise provided each day and some of them, where you hold the palms of your hands up, you can definately feel it in your abs. I dont think that it works your whole complete abs, but it does work thr top part of your...
