The Spring religious holiday season (Passover and Easter) is here and -- whatever faith you profess -- I wish you happiness and peace during the celebrations which are upon us.  As a Catholic, I will attend the Easter Vigil on Holy Saturday evening.  Included in the Scriptural texts will be not only the Easter Passion but also readings from the beautiful Book of Genesis, along with the dynamite story of Moses parting the Red Sea and the flight of the Israelites (always a crowd pleaser). 

Even people like me who don't read The Bible much can appreciate how important The Good Book is. ...

The Bible

The Bible is a book that can:

1.    Keep you from saying something stupid,

2.    Give you something worthwhile to think about on your commute,

3.    Fix your relationship issues,

4.    Build an unshakeable self esteem,

5.    Guide you in that momentous decision,

6.    Equip you with parenting tools, and

7.    Help you protect your nest egg.

As stated in the sound bite: "Shelve the self help books, you have a trustier treasure in your hands."

 The Holy Bible is so much more than just a good book. If you read it it will change your life forever. The good news it tells is the most important news you could ever hear. I have read it over more than ones and never tire of it. I am always learning new and amazing things and ever drawing closer to the Savior I found in it. Te Bible will lead you to the only One who can renew you, heal you, and ensure you a home in heaven. I think this is the only book I would recommend you start reading in the middle, but you should start with the new testament. Truly the best book ever writen!

There is not enough space to say all that should be said about the greatest book every published.  It is one of the primary reasons the discovery of the printing press even occurred.  The world has been transformed by the Bible.  It provides all the answers to the world's problems if only the world would use it.  It is frequently misquoted by being taken out of context.  It has been criticized by probably millions of people over its' long life span and still stands firm as the all time best seller.  It is reliable and accurate.  It cannot be changed or replaced by any other book, no matter...

This is a book I believe people do not read enough of.  With the way the world is today, it seems that we need to get back to the basic.  We have gotten to involved in greed, not paying attention to our children, their education, trying to keep up with the Jones, etc.  As a nation, we have to get back to the basics and remember the important things-God, family, honesty, principles, and you  know the rest. 

it is a book which describes cristian view point but not of jesus crist,,he never said he as begotten son of god but it was added by some scholars to show the increadible holiness in him,but he always asked people to pray to almighty ,ask help from only almiighty,,,people dont read any more bible to understand they read only some portions of bible which describes lovee they dont need other teaching from bible
