I bought this electric ice shaver on sale online at walmart.com. I had searched online for some time for an ice shaver and could not find what i was looking for. My toddler son loves eating ice pieces and crushed ice. I absolutely love this ice shaver. It shaves ice very fine and in seconds. My son loves that I can "make him ice" as he tells me. This ice shaver was easy to put together, take apart, and clean. It also came with four bowls and four spoons. My son also says that he is glad it is not loud and noisy like our blender that I used to use to blend ice cubes into ice chips. The ice shaver is small enough to store easily in my kitchen cabinet. I have never heard of this company before, but I am glad I tried it. I also received a recipe book for all kinds of shaved ice treats, with my ice shaver. I use ice cubes from an ice tray. I know some ice shavers I researched required crescent shaped ice cubes, but the manual said that the ice shaves better if you use ice cubes from an ice tray. This is perfect because my refrigerator does not have an automatic ice cube maker!
