This heater is nice to heat a small room.  I think that the little compact heaters that have different heating levels is much more better as heating a room.  Because it lack a temperture control it is a heater that you don't just want to keep on all day.   It does not shut off once the room is warm.  It has two levels, energy saving and just the regular setting.  If on the energy setting you have to be sitting directly in front of the heater in order to feel the heat.  It seems to me that you are wasting more energy trying to heat a small room on the energy level.  It does have the safety tilt auto off switch on the bottom which is good if it get's knocked over.  But for the cost and the amount of heat you are getting I would recommend looking for a different heating unit.  Seems to be pretty quite for the most part.  It is a okay heater, I would not recommend it without the auto temperture control and the one temperture setting.
