Holmes Heater - Space Heater - Ceramic Compact Review

I purchased this little heater in 2001, and it's still going strong. We use it in our bathroom on frosty northeastern mornings in the Autumn and winter.

Within less than 5 minutes, the Holmes Ceramic space heater will sufficiently warm a 12' x 12' area. There are a variety of settings, and I don't think in our smaller bathroom I've ever turned the settings to "high".  

The heater I have is an ocillating model, a feature I've just now discovered no longer works on my  aged heater, (I never used it, so this is a moot point for me). There is a bit of a flimsy little filter in the back, encased in an easily removed housing for the purpose of cleaning, or replacement of said flimsy filter. It's necessary to wash this thin filter regularly for optimum performance. I just rinse mine off with warm water and let it air dry, pop it back in and snap on the lid.

Maybe it's a bit much to ask, but I hope this unit lasts forever. I've never seen a reasonably priced area space heater work so efficiently. Hubby will be heartbroken when it finally bites the dust. ;)
